Set off from the coastal town with its incomparable location on steep black cliffs on the Gulf of Naples to visit the ancient archaeological sites of Pompeii*. A guided walking tour will take you to the ruins of the Roman city buried by falling ash. A special four-wheel drive bus will transport you to a height of 1,000 m (3,281 ft) for a spectacular view on Vesuvius*. Or opt for a trip* on one of the most beautiful roads in the world along the famous Amalfi coast.

Giardini Naxos (Taormina)/Sicily/Italy , 7.00 – 18.00 hrs
Taormina* offers an impressive array of medieval palaces and buildings dating back to Greek and Roman times. The nearby coastal town of Giardini Naxos also promises a beautiful sandy beach for hours of relaxation. An all-terrain vehicle will take you to Europe’s largest active volcano Mount Etna*, which is not far away. Alternatively, go canyoning* in the Alcantara Gorge for a hands-on experience of Sicily’s wonderful nature.
