This is where water meets drama. Olympic-level high divers leap high into the air, performing mesmerising stunts and aerial acrobatics and finishing with a perfect dive into the deepest pool at sea. With two 9-metre diving platforms, stunning ocean views and 137,000 gallons of water, Royal Caribbean’s AquaTheater (available on selected ships) adds to the edge-of-your-seat-inducing entertainment line-up on-board amazing ships.

Come for the g-force spins. Stay for the spectacular ice dancing. The Studio B ice rink (available on selected Royal Caribbean ships) presents dramatic ice shows starring a cast of professional skaters from around the world.

Enjoy dazzling costumes and choreography filled with amazing spins, leaps and lifts.

Every sailing features original productions that you can only see on-board.

Amazing vocalists and dancers deliver rousing performances wrapped up in stunning sets and transcendent multimedia productions.

Whether it’s a jazz excursion, techno-inspired cabaret or something beyond, prepare to be amazed.

Juicy Fruits

“Food, glorious food”. That thought comes to mind as you board a cruise ship on a culinary adventure.  On an average 7 day cruise, with 2,800 people, approximately 20,000 pounds of fresh fruit will be consumed.  Fresh fruits and vegetables are stored in various stages of ripeness, however, bananas are stored separately as these give off gases that can spoil other fruits.  The Chef’s carefully monitor fruit consumption – if the guests are eating a lot, they may have to reprovision. If they’re not eating enough, they will have to find uses for fruit. That’s why strawberries flambé and cherries jubilee are such frequent cruise desserts. Bananas and peaches routinely turn up at mealtime as Bananas Foster or peach sorbet.
